Tsubakiya Shijuusou

Hmm... mysterious? I dunno... but I've grown pretty attached to this song by the band Tsubakiya Shijuusou (haha~ I thought it was a solo artist too... but its a band, hontou!) ...Funny the title LOVER nor the lyric doesn't have any resonance with me... ARGH~! I blame Kai!

I was... going through JRock Humor for crack since life is like ajsdhfeklalalargh!!! and someone put the youtube link where they put up translation+recording of a part from Kai's radioshow about Aoi's accent (haha~ they thought he sounded like a foreigner talking with it since they can't understand a word of it... '_'; what'll that make me? AH~!) and from there I jumped to some more of them (and Reita's too! Dude~ They're all crack!)

So there's this one... Kai was talking about his latest (hic) music "addiction" :P (ah~ I get those pangs now and then... and usually it comes with about 1GB reduction of space in my HD :| ) He said he likes the vocals and the melody... But the melody most (dudes rarely take note of the vocals... A lot of bands got good songs screwed big2 by their vocals. Ano... not to say that the voice is not good but at most time it just doesn't fit the song so... yeah... it breaks my eardrums to listen to them <><>;;) and he played the song LOVER by the band... I didn't really take it that seriously at first, y'know... I just tried to keep up reading the translation of the song which is has... nothing to do with me (haha~) Then I jump and laugh at more of them videos... only to jump back and watch it again.

The melody... It opens up with the guitar that has this haunting feeling to it... Ma~ ano... I think the whole song is haunting... Maybe that's why I was called back to it? (haha~) And the vocalist voice... there's something beckoning about it... It's not strong like hard core rock-screaming voice but... I dunno... Mellow? i~ya~... But it's smooth... But I'm very much in love with the instrumental break and the bridge that follows gives like sort of... The vortex for the song? haha~ its pretty intense there compared to the other part of the song and it kinda suck me up there so hard...

I could sit down and listen to this song like, forever so I'll put the video here and for those interested with the Kai radio thingy where he introduce the song its here (it has the PV+sub in romaji & translation so I highly recommend it to those who are suckers at looking at the words... Though the song itself stood strong enough for me) And may I add that majority of Kai's fan agree with his choice? =D (tempted, no?)

And with this done, hopefully I can put THAT to rest and proceed with 3 assignments due in several hours @_@;;
